Growing Your Capacity Workshop series for Nonprofit Organizations

We are proud to announce our new series of workshops, designed to help nonprofit organziations grow their capacity to better meet their missions. This year's workshops will cover how to effectively use social media and manage volunteers well. All workshops will take place at the Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington, 1st floor Community Room.

The series' final workshop will be Growing with Volunteers on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. Cherie Carlson, Consultant at Integrated Advising Services, will bring her experience as a nonprofit leader engaging and energizing volunteers. Participants will learn how to find the best fit for volunteers, better motivate and communicate with them, and provide objective feedback and appreciation.

The registration fee is $35 for the workshop. The workshop will feature a panel of experienced nonprofit staff and/or board members to add insight to the topics. It will include a light supper.
