LE Alumni

Leadership Evanston alumni are out in the community making an impact. Over 80% of the over 530 alumni of the Signature Leadership Evanston program and Senior Leadership Evanston continue to live or work in Evanston. Many serve on appointed boards and commissions, have run for and serve as elected officials and on non-profit boards. Others help their organizations become more collaborative and effective in the community.

The Leadership Evanston Alumni Association keeps alumni engaged in and informed about Evanston and Leadership Evanston. Chaired by alumna and Steering Committee member Cynthia Witherspoon, the active Alumni Association committee brings together alumni with events and communications over the year.

Alumni events provide opportunities for Leadership Evanston graduates to network with each other and to keep abreast of community trends and issues.  Annual events have included networking and training sessions, and the popular Alumni Reunion. 

Periodically, alumni receive an e-mail newsletter updating program activities and the accomplishments of their peers, along with opportunities for community involvement.
